            Dr. Taylor is a member of the American Association of Hand Surgery and has extensive experience in the surgical treatment of hand injuries caused by an accident or repetitive trauma injuries, such as carpal tunnel syndrome.

            He also has a special area of expertise in workers’ compensation systems and the evaluation of injured workers. He is a member of the board of directors of the American Academy of Disability Evaluating Physicians (AADEP) and lectures regularly to physician groups throughout the United States on how to deal with work related injuries and problems.

            Dr.  Taylor teaches on a regular basis in other parts of the country for Medical organizations and other state workers' compensation systems on how to evaluate injured workers and how to determine the loss of function that an injured worker has as a result of an injury.

            Dr. Taylor helped design, implement, and teach the special courses for the state of Texas for their workers' compensation system. He has worked with the Texas Medical Association, AADEP, and the Texas Chiropractic Association.

            He is President of AADEP, the only medical association devoted to teaching physicians and other parties how to evaluate the loss of function from an injury.
