MEET OUR MEDICAL TEAM
Our team of dermatologists, nurse practitioners and other medical professionals take a hands-on approach to your skincare.
Dr. Marc Serota is triple board-certified in dermatology, allergy/asthma/immunology and pediatrics. He has completed a pediatrics residency at Cohen’s Children’s Hospital in New York, an allergy/asthma/immunology fellowship at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, and a second residency in dermatology at the University of Colorado. He has published work and currently lectures nationally on dermatologic and allergic diseases.
Emily Perbellini is a board-certified, Family Nurse Practitioner, based in our Las Vegas office. With over 10 years working in dermatology, Emily specializes in educating others and oversees LaserAway’s continued education program, Aesthetic Pro Workshop.
Dr. Will Kirby is one of the country’s leading dermatologists, and is also LaserAway’s Chief Medical Officer! He has appeared on 35+ different TV shows as a featured physician. He trained at Mount Sinai Medical Center and completed residency training at Western University/Pacific Hospital.
Dr. Ritu Chopra is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon. For over a decade, he was the go-to plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills & Rancho Mirage. He’s a member of ASPS, ASAPS, and the LA Surgical Society, and also serves as a correspondent for the hit TV show The Doctors.
Dr. Tejas Desai is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs Micrographic Surgeon. During medical school, he was on multiple dermatologic research teams at Columbia Medical School and Harvard Medical School. He’s also won several awards for his research.
Dr. Frank Don is a physician specializing in dermatology. He obtained his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University and is residency trained in dermatology at Wellington Regional Medical Center. He even went on to complete an additional residency in family medicine.
Dr. Julie Doyle is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with 15+ years of experience. She regularly gives aesthetic training and educational teaching to LaserAway medical staff, and was instrumental in the creation of LaserAway’s industry leading standardized procedures.
Dr. Travis Hamblin is a board-certified dermatologist. He received his medical degree from Midwestern University and completed an internship and residency in dermatology with Michigan State University where he was Chief Resident.
Dr. Shaheen Oshtory is a board-certified dermatologist with a medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences. Her first year of post-graduate training was at University Hospitals/Case Western Reserve University, where she researched cutaneous oncology and hair disorders.
Dr. Angie Koriakos specializes in the diagnosis and management of diseases of the skin, hair and nails. She got her medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences, interned in Internal Medicine at Georgetown University Hospital and trained at University of North Texas Health Science Center, where she was Chief Resident.
Dr. Lazzaro specializes in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. She attended medical school at Western University of Health Science and completed her dermatology residency training at Michigan State University, Mclaren Oakland Hospital where she was chief resident.
Dr. Andrew Ordon co-founded LaserAway in 2005 and is an Emmy®-nominated co-host of The Doctors. He attended USC School of Medicine and trained at USC/LA County Medical Center. He had two residencies: one at White Memorial/Loma Linda University and a second at Lenox Hill Hospital/Manhattan Eye and Ear Infirmary Program.
Dr. Emily Rubenstein is a board-certified dermatologist with her Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from Midwestern University. She completed a residency in Family Practice and Dermatology from Broward General/Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Dr. Amy Spizuoco is a board-certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist. She received her medical degree at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed a medical internship at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY and trained at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona and Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Alison Tam specializes in cosmetic dermatology and laser therapy. She attended medical school at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA. She is a current fellow of both the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology and the American Academy of Dermatology.
Dr. Roy S. Winston, M.D. is the founder of LaserAway and has been practicing medicine for 25+ years. He has been on the staff of some of the nation’s most prestigious hospitals, and a faculty member at The University of California at Irvine and Emory University and is a board-certified anesthesiologist
