Bruce: Hi, I’m Bruce. I’m here at LaserAway to get laser hair removal done for my back. Just have a couple different odd patches of hair, back there and, it just looks a little bit unbecoming when you’re at the beach or something like that, so I wanted to get it removed.
Technician: What’s the pain level here?
Bruce: It’s less than one.
Technician: Okay. Once again, if it’s ever higher than a five, let me know, okay?
Technician: So, the way hair removal works, it’s attracted to the pigment in our hair follicle. You get at least ten percent hair reduction with each treatment. It’s attracted to the active hairs that are growing. Our hair grows in three different cycles, and the antigen phase, which is the active phase, those are the hairs that die with each treatment.
We recommend at least eight treatments so you get to 80 percent or more hair reduction. You come in every six weeks to do body parts, because that’s when the hair cycle changes. And like I said earlier, when we treat the face or the neck, that’s every four weeks, because the cycle changes every four weeks. Doing okay?
Technician: Even when I get closer to your spine, you don’t feel it?
Bruce: Yeah, it’s weird. I feel a tingle.
Technician: We’re almost done here, with the back. You’re okay here?
