Tiffany: Hi, my name’s Tiffany. I’m here for tattoo removal.
Tiffany: Well, I’d originally gotten it to expand into something huge and amazing. It’s a little Tokidoki skull with a cherry blossom head and two little stars. I didn’t find the time for it, and it just sat ugly on my stomach. I just really want to get rid of it.
Tiffany: I’m feeling slightly nervous, but excited to get rid of the tattoo, but still really nervous about the pain. Here we go.
Female Voice: You’re going to be fine, Tiffany. OK, so I’m going to use a chiller. This is going to actually help with any tenderness, OK?
Female Voice: OK, ready, on the count of three. One, two, three. How was that?
Tiffany: Oh, it was just like zapping. Not, too bad.
Female Voice: Not too bad, right? Ready? One, two, three. There you go. You’re doing a great job.
Female Voice: How are you doing, Tiffany?
Tiffany: I’m good.
Female Voice: Deep breath.
Female Voice: That’s it.
Tiffany: Oh, yay. That was…
Female Voice: That wasn’t bad.
Tiffany: No, not at all. Good. Wow, look how light it got.
Female Voice: What you’re experiencing now, this is frosting. This is basically the laser burning the ink. That’s going to fade, and it’s going to go back to normal. It’s going to look like as if you had nothing done. It will feel dry.
Female Voice: So just keep it moist with Aquafor or Neosporin or anything. OK?
Female Voice: And we cover it now. Let’s cover the tattoo. There you go, honey. That’s your first tattoo removal.
Tiffany: Oh, that was not bad at all. I was expecting a lot worse.
Tiffany: Surprisingly, it did not hurt as much as I’ve heard. It was really slight and quick. On a scale of one to ten, it was about a two. The chiller really makes a difference. It’s so cold, you can barely feel anything.
