Hairs typically start to fall out within 7 to 10 days and continue shedding for 2 to 3 weeks. You will see about a 10% to 15% reduction in hair with each session. After completing your full series of treatments, you can expect around a 70% to 80% total reduction in underarm hair.

The laser only works on hairs that are in their active growing phase, which is when the hair is still connected to the root and contains the most color. Because your hairs do not all grow at the same time, multiple sessions are required to catch all of them in this active stage.

The laser targets the color (pigment) inside your hair shaft. The hair absorbs this laser energy and turns it into heat, which travels down to safely damage the deepest parts of the hair root (the bulb and the bulge) to stop it from growing.
