How much does an acne scar removal treatment cost?
Your acne scar removal treatment plan will be customized to your acne scars and overall SkinFitness™ goals, and pricing varies based on this. We can discuss specific pricing, as well as our payment plan options, in person during your free consultation.
Does acne scar removal hurt?
The numbing cream totally works, so most patients only feel minimal discomfort that can best be described as a light prickling sensation with increased heat.
How long does each acne scar removal treatment last?
About 45 minutes to an hour. Your clinician will apply numbing cream to your face, which takes about 30 minutes to set. Then, they’ll remove the cream and begin the treatment, which takes around 15 to 60 minutes to complete.
How many acne scar removal treatments will I need?
It depends on your skincare goals. We find that while some results are noticeable after one treatment, most patients opt for several to truly achieve their goals, and some opt to have routine Clear + Brilliant treatments as a regular part of their SkinFitness™ regimen.
How does acne scar removal work?
We use Clear + Brilliant, a nonablative fractional laser that stimulates collagen production to reduce the appearance of acne scars and discoloration. It works by creating millions of microscopic treatment zones, replacing damaged tissue with healthy, younger-looking tissue.
What does an acne scar removal treatment feel like?
The numbing cream totally works (trust us!), so most patients only feel minimal discomfort that can best be described as a light prickling sensation with increased heat.
How often should I schedule acne scar removal treatments?
To maximize results, we recommend that you schedule Clear + Brilliant treatments two to four weeks apart.
Will I experience any side effects after an acne scar removal treatment?
Clear + Brilliant treatments tend to be gentle, and they’re specifically designed to minimize side effects. Immediately after your treatment, you may experience mild redness and subtle inflammation—but these side effects usually subside within a day. A few days after your treatment, your skin may develop a rough, “sandpaper” texture, but this resolves in a few days to reveal soft, supple skin. How long do acne scar removal results last?
You’ll start to see results from Clear + Brilliant with a single treatment! Your skin will feel softer, look brighter and show a more even tone. And the results keep improving with additional treatments. In order to get the best results possible (and to improve your overall skin fitness), we recommend getting treated regularly as part of your skin fitness regimen. As long as your active acne remains under control, the treatments will produce permanent improvement in your acne scars.
Is there anyone who shouldn’t get acne scar removal?
Clear + Brilliant may not be suitable for treating deep acne scars or active acne. Certain skin conditions disallow laser treatments altogether. That’s why we require you to have a free consultation prior to your first treatment, where you’ll talk us through your skin history and we’ll assess whether the treatment is right for you.
