The Mariah the Scientist x LaserAway PCOS National Giveaway Official Rules

1. Overview

The Mariah the Scientist x LaserAway PCOS National Giveaway ("Contest") is a campaign where eligible individuals (see below for eligibility requirements) (each a "Participant") may participate in the Contest by following LaserAway, LLC ("Sponsor") on Instagram, following Mariah Amani Buckles, known professionally as, "Mariah the Scientist" ("Artist") on Instagram, liking the Contest Announcement (as defined below) and posting a comment on the Contest Announcement that shares their Polycystic Ovary Syndrome ("PCOS") story. Thirty (30) prizes are available.

2. Eligibility

The Contest is open only to residents of the Fifty (50) United States and Washington, D.C. who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of participation. Employees, personnel, officers, directors, agents, and representatives of Sponsor and its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, promotion and advertising agencies (collectively, with Instagram and Artists, the "Released Parties"), and members of their immediate families (spouse and parents, children and siblings and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and persons living in the same household, whether or not related, of such individuals, are not eligible to enter or win.

The Contest is void where prohibited. Participation constitutes Participants' full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor's decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth in these Official Rules.

3. Sponsor

LaserAway, LLC 307 S Robertson Blvd, Beverly Hills, CA 90211.

4. Timing

The Contest begins when Sponsor posts the Contest Announcement from its @LaserAway handle on Instagram, on September 7, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET") and ends on September 14, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET (the "Contest Period"). Sponsor's computer is the official time-keeping device for this Contest.

5. How to Enter

During the Contest Period, an eligible Participant must complete all the following steps:

Ensure you like and comment on the correct Contest Announcement, as there may be other, similar, promotion announcements from @LaserAway on Instagram.

Limit one (1) entry per person during the Contest Period. Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same email address or social media account(s). Any attempt by any Participant to obtain more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different email addresses, accounts, identities, logins, or any other methods will void that Participant's entries and that Participant may be disqualified. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible or misdirected activity (e.g., follows or comments), which will be disqualified. In the event of a dispute as to any entry, the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the social media account used to participate will be deemed to be the Participant. The "authorized account holder" is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. Potential winners may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder. You may "unfollow" Sponsor and/or Artist at any time after prize fulfillment.

When you comment on the Contest Announcement (your, "Entry Post"), you will have the opportunity to include additional content. All content in your Entry Post ("Entrant Content") must meet all of the requirements in these Official Rules, including the following "Submission Requirements", or you may be disqualified (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion):

It is each Participant's responsibility to set their account settings to ensure that any purported Entry Post is made publicly, to accept contacts by Sponsor, and to timely check their account for any comments, mentions, messages, or other communications from Sponsor. Sponsor is not responsible for changes to any functionality or policy of Instagram that may interfere with the Contest or ability of a Participant to timely enter or otherwise participate.

6. Winner Selection and Notification

On or around September 14, 2026, thirty (30) potential winners will be selected from among all eligible entries through a judging process, as described below. All eligible entries will be evaluated by Artist in her sole discretion based on the following criteria, weighted as indicated: Confidence (34%), Originality (33%), and Perseverance (33%). In the event of a tie in the selection of the winner, the entry with the highest score in the Confidence criterion will be named the potential winner. If there is still a tie, the entry with the highest score in the Originality criterion will be named the potential winner. If there is still a tie, Artist will decide on the winner.

Sponsor reserves the right to contact Participants for verification purposes, follow-up questions, and administration of the Contest. All decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to this Contest. Each Participant acknowledges that other Participants may have submitted stories similar to theirs and agree that they will not be entitled to any compensation or right to negotiate with Sponsor because of these similarities.

The potential winners are subject to verification by Sponsor, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters related to the Contest. A Participant is not a winner of any prize, even if so indicated by Sponsor or Artist, unless and until Participant's eligibility and the potential win have been verified, and Participant has been notified that verification is complete. Sponsor will not accept screen shots or other evidence of winning in lieu of its validation process.

Receiving a prize is contingent upon compliance with these Official Rules. The potential winners will be notified via direct message by Artist. The winners may be required to sign and return a Declaration of Compliance, Liability Waiver, and where permitted, a Publicity Release ("Declaration"), and will be required to complete and return an IRS Form W-9 as described in the Taxes section below, each of which must be received by Sponsor within the time frame indicated, to claim the prize. If the potential winners cannot be contacted or fail to provide any requested information within the required time period (if applicable), the potential winner forfeits the prize and Sponsor may award the prize to an alternate winner using the same judging process described above, if time allows, at Sponsor's sole discretion.

7. Prizes and Approximate Retail Value ("ARV")

Thirty (30) winners will each receive a laser hair removal package for the face. Each ARV: $2,394.

Receiving the prize requires the potential winner to go through the medical clearance process called Good Faith Exam ("GFE") prior to treatment. No cash equivalent. Prize is non-transferable and no substitution will be made except as provided in these Official Rules at the Sponsor's sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize for one of equal or greater value if the designated prize should become unavailable for any reason. No travel expenses (e.g., parking, bus/train ticket) will be provided for the event. Package must be redeemed within one (1) year.

ARV of all Prizes: $71,820

8. Taxes

All federal, state, and local taxes on the prize, and all other costs and expenses associated with acceptance, receipt, and use of the prize, are the sole responsibility of the winner. Each winner is required to complete, sign, and return to Sponsor (or to Sponsor's representative) an IRS Form W-9 providing the winner's legal name, address, and taxpayer identification number, together with the Declaration, within the time frame specified in the winner notification. Failure to timely provide a properly completed Form W-9 may result in disqualification and forfeiture of the prize, and Sponsor may award the prize to an alternate winner in accordance with Section 6. Sponsor (or its designee) will report the value of the prize to the Internal Revenue Service and will issue the winner an IRS Form 1099-MISC (or other applicable information return) reflecting the ARV stated in Section 7 for the calendar year in which the prize is awarded. The ARV stated in these Official Rules is the value that Sponsor will report, and no adjustment or dispute regarding valuation, including any difference between the ARV and the actual value of the prize at the time of redemption, will be considered; any difference between the ARV and the actual value will not be awarded and is forfeited. Winners are advised to consult their own tax advisors regarding the tax consequences of accepting the prize.

9. Release

By entering this Contest, you agree to release and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any claim or cause of action, arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use or misuse of the prize, including, but not limited to (a) unauthorized human intervention in the Contest; (b) technical errors related to computers, servers, providers, or network lines; (c) platform settings, active or passive filtering of any kind, or insufficient space in a Participant's inbox that may prevent an individual from participating or receiving messages or other communications from Sponsor related to the Contest; (d) lost, late, postage-due, misdirected, or undeliverable mail, email or other communications from Sponsor; (e) errors in the administration of the Contest or the processing of entries; or (f) death, injury, or damage to/loss of persons or property.

10. Publicity

Except where prohibited, participation in the Contest constitutes winners' consent to Sponsor and its agents to use winners' name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration.

11. General Conditions

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Contest, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, human error or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Contest, or any event or cause beyond Sponsor's control (e.g., events such as natural calamities, national emergencies, wide spread illnesses, declarations of war, acts of God, acts of terrorism) interferes with any aspect of the Contest, including but not limited to fulfillment of the prize, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. In such event, Sponsor reserves the right to modify the prize(s) offered in this Contest and to award the prize(s) to qualifying Participants from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or to be acting in violation of the Official Rules of this or any other promotion or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

12. Limitations of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law each Participant agrees to release, discharge, hold harmless and indemnify each of the Released Parties from and against any claims, damages, disability, and costs of litigation and settlement, as well as any liability whatsoever for injuries or damages of any kind sustained in connection with the use, acceptance, possession, misuse or awarding of a prize, or while preparing for, participating in, and/or traveling to or from any prize or Contest related activity, including, without limitation, any injury, damage, death, loss, or accident or of person or property. The prior limitation on damages is not intended to limit the Released Parties' obligation (if any) to pay prevailing party costs or fees if recoverable pursuant to applicable law. The limitations set forth in this section will not limit or exclude the Released Parties' liability for personal injury or tangible property damage caused by the Released Parties, or for the Released Parties' gross negligence, fraud, or intentional, willful, malicious, or reckless misconduct.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, winners agree that the prize is provided as-is without any warranty, representation, or guarantee (express or implied, in fact or in law) whether now known or hereinafter enacted, relative to the use or enjoyment of any part of the prize, including, without limitation, its quality, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Each Participant understands and agrees that all rights under Section 1542 of the Civil code of California and any similar law of any state or territory of the United States are hereby expressly waived by them. Section 1542 reads as follows:

13. Disputes

Except where prohibited, each Participant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction in New York, New York; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Contest, but in no event attorneys' fees; and (3) under no circumstances will Participants be permitted to obtain awards for, and Participants hereby waive all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the Participants and any Released Party in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of New York without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of New York or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of New York.

Information collected from Participants is subject to Sponsor's Privacy Policy available at www.laseraway.com/privacy/.

15. Winners List/Official Rules

To find out who won, send an email with the subject line "Mariah the Scientist PCOS National Giveaway - Rules" to community@laseraway.net. Requests for winner information must be received no later than three (3) months after the Promotion Period. Only one (1) request per email will be fulfilled.
