Yes, Botox can help soften deep forehead wrinkles when muscle movement is a big part of what is causing them. If the lines are more static, your clinician may recommend combining Botox with other collagen-focused treatments over time.

During your appointment, your clinician will review your medical history, assess how your forehead muscles move, take photos, and map injection points. Botox is then placed into the treatment area using a series of small injections.

Most patients find forehead Botox very tolerable. The injections are quick and use a very small needle.

After forehead Botox, be gentle when washing your face, avoid working out for 1 day, avoid going upside down for 1 day, avoid lying completely flat for 4 hours, and avoid pressing on the treated area right after treatment.

Do not lie completely flat for the first 4 hours after treatment. After that, follow your normal sleep routine unless your clinician gives you different guidance.

You can wash your hair after treatment, but be gentle around the treated area and avoid pressing or rubbing the forehead right away.
