Dr. Charles Janssens, DO

Charles M. Janssens, DO, FACP is a board certified internal medicine physician. He received his degree from Midwestern University in 2007, and then completed his training in internal medicine from Indiana University in 2010. Dr. Janssens has spent the majority of his career on the inpatient side of care, evaluating and treating adults with wide-ranging, complex medical issues such as complications of diabetes, acute heart attack, and stroke.

As Dr. Janssens's career has evolved, he's held various leadership positions that have directly impacted the quality of patient care. He started and led the nocturnal division at St. Francis Hospital in Greenwood, IN for internal medicine. He was named Medical Director and led their program for 2 years. The exact same model was copied by the Cardiology and Critical Care service lines of St. Francis Hospital. He eventually moved on to Ohio and shortly thereafter was named the Associate Medical Director of Miami Valley South in Centerville, OH. In that space he was tasked by executive leadership to facilitate care of a fast-growing hospital with limited resources. Despite the rewarding nature of that position, St. Francis Hospital still had significant need, so he joined them to work nights once again as a team lead. He recently was a nominee for "Healing Hands," which awards physicians for going above and beyond the duties expected of a provider.

After many years of sharpening his skill sets and growing in leadership roles, he launched his own company called Summit7, LLC. This business drills down to medical leadership and collaborative responsibilities with nurse practitioners (NP) and physician assistants (PA). Some of his clients include LaserAway, Moxie, Gameday Men's Health Clinic, and TheWoundPros. He has also collaborated with NPs and PAs from New York to California to help provide better access to health care, particularly mental health.

The culmination of his experience with various treatment modalities and clinics have led him to LaserAway, for which he has been named Regional Medical Director of Indiana. In this space he will facilitate aesthetic collaboration with nurse practitioners.
