Does a Liquid Facelift hurt?

Most patients find the Liquid Facelift very tolerable. The treatment uses Juvéderm® fillers, which contain lidocaine to help minimize discomfort, along with Botox® or Xeomin®, which are injected with an ultra-fine needle. You may feel a quick pinch or light pressure with each injection, but the sensation fades almost immediately. If you'd like an extra layer of comfort, a topical numbing cream can be applied before treatment begins.

Do I need numbing cream before treatment?

Numbing cream is optional, but many patients choose it for added comfort--especially during their first session.

What does it feel like?

Most describe it as mild pressure or a quick pinch, followed by a slight tingling as the product is placed.

Is there soreness afterward?

Some tenderness or fullness is normal for a day or two, especially in areas treated with filler, but it fades quickly.
