My laser hair removal treatment at Thousand Oaks was so much more thorough than my experience at the Oxnard location. My treatment in Oxnard felt rushed, while the nurse at Thousand Oaks took her time and made sure she covered every area. She was also very clear about aftercare instructions, which unfortunately was not the case in Oxnard. Because of the rushed treatments and lack of clear aftercare guidance at Oxnard, I honestly don’t feel like I got my money’s worth for the first half of my treatment. I reached out to corporate about this and requested that those treatments be made up, but I was never compensated or offered a resolution. So, if you’re choosing LaserAway, choose your location wisely. Even though it’s the same company, the quality of your experience can clearly vary from one location to another. I’ll be sticking with the lovely Thousand Oaks team moving forward!

Dr. Will Kirby holds a degree in Biology from Emory University and earned his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center and went on to complete his dermatology residency through Western University/Pacific Hospital, where he was selected as Chief Resident in the Department of Dermatology.
