I've been going to LaserAway's Santa Barbara location every month or two for the past six months for several different treatments, and it's time I finally posted a review —I've already recommended them to several friends. What stands out most is their competitive, transparent pricing, which is honestly rare in the Santa Barbara skincare/dermatology world. I also appreciate the non-pretentious atmosphere and the clean, state-of-the-art facility. The staff make the biggest difference, though. After initially exploring and visiting several other skincare/dermatology facilities here in town, I called LaserAway. It was on a Saturday afternoon and got one of their OG corporate employees who is not local but was involved in opening many LaserAways including the office here. She spent more than an hour on the phone with me patiently answering every question under the sun I could think in great detail. It was such a nice shift from the hustled approach I had experienced elsewhere. Their nurses are highly qualified (transferred over from ICU/ER backgrounds), and it shows in how confident and careful they are. Chloe, the lead nurse, is bubbly and energetic and somehow makes even the more intense procedures feel easy. Amanda and the rest of the team are consistently warm and helpful too. One tip: keep an eye out for their promotions. They run them frequently and they're worth taking advantage of. Highly recommend if you're considering any of their treatments.

Dr. Will Kirby holds a degree in Biology from Emory University and earned his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center and went on to complete his dermatology residency through Western University/Pacific Hospital, where he was selected as Chief Resident in the Department of Dermatology.

Since 2015, Dr. Kirby has served as the Chief Medical Officer of LaserAway. Under his leadership, the medical team continues to raise the bar in aesthetic dermatology—prioritizing innovation, clinical excellence, and patient-centered care across all LaserAway locations.
