ABOUT THE POTENZA™ RF MICRONEEDLING EXPERIENCE
Once you arrive for your Potenza RF Microneedling treatment, you’ll remove any topical products, including makeup or lotion. You will then apply a numbing cream to the treatment area, which takes about 30 minutes to take effect, giving you plenty of time to use the restroom, hydrate with a glass of water and ask any questions you may have. Then, your clinician will remove the cream and begin the treatment, which takes about 30-90 minutes to complete. All in all, you’re looking at less than two hours of your day put toward months of tighter, smoother skin!
Does the treatment hurt? The numbing cream totally works (trust us!), so most patients only feel mild to moderate discomfort that can best be described as a prickling sensation with increased heat.
After your Potenza RF Microneedling treatment, you will likely notice some redness and swelling. This typically resolves within a few days, but may last up to several weeks depending on your skin sensitivity and the area treated.
While you may see some initial results after four to six weeks, the more noticeable effects of the treatment appear over the course of three to six months as your skin goes through three different phases of collagen remodeling. Note: most patients opt for our recommendation of three to six treatments to get the best possible results!
