24 HOURS BEFORE YOUR TREATMENT...

• Avoid alcohol to reduce your risk of bruising.

THE DAY OF YOUR TREATMENT...

• Avoid caffeine and eat a full, nutritious meal to decrease your chance of lightheadedness.
• Clean the treatment area—remove any products such as makeup, lotion, sunscreen, etc. from the area being treated before your appointment. If you forget this one, we'll have wipes on hand.

A Few More Things We Need To Know

ANY CHANGES TO YOUR MEDICAL HISTORY…

• New diagnosis? New pregnancy? New medications? We need to know. Please tell us, as some medical conditions and medications are not compatible with dermal filler treatments. It may be necessary to reschedule your appointment, as your health and safety are always our top priority!

COLD SORES (HSV-1 OR HSV-2)…

• If you have a history of cold sores and the treatment area is affected, it's recommended to take an antiviral medication starting 24-48 hours before your appointment and continue for three to five days after to prevent an outbreak. Consult your primary care provider for a prescription if needed.
