ABOUT THE FACE CONTOURING EXPERIENCE
STEP ONE: YOUR FREE CONSULTATION
You’ll start your Face Contouring experience by scheduling a free consultation with one of our specialists. There, they will assess your skincare goals, walk you through the treatment and answer any questions you might have.
STEP TWO: YOUR TREATMENT
The Juvéderm filler and Thermage portion of your Face Contouring treatment will be scheduled about a month apart.
Your Juvéderm appointment will last about 45 minutes and consist of a few easy injections in the areas being treated. Your Thermage appointment will vary in length based on the areas being treated. First, your clinician will apply a “grid” to the area being treated to ensure that it’s thoroughly targeted. Then, they’ll begin the treatment, using the device to create radiofrequency pulses against your skin. The pulses only last a few seconds, and your clinician will be monitoring the intensity to maintain your comfort level. The device also has an integrated cooling system that cools your skin’s surface for increased comfort.
HOW NON-SURGICAL FACE CONTOURING WORKS
Does Face Contouring hurt? It can be a little uncomfortable. For the Juvéderm portion, the formulation is infused with lidocaine, an anesthetic that will help mitigate discomfort once injected. Because Thermage uses heat to stimulate collagen in the deepest layers of your skin, it’s slightly more uncomfortable than other facial treatments that deliver heat to superficial layers of the skin. One of our specialists will walk you through how to prepare for this treatment during your consultation.
After your treatment, you’ll be able to go back to your everyday life with zero downtime! However, there are a few things you’ll need to be aware of, including activities to avoid and common side effects like minor swelling or bruising. Juvéderm:

Thermage:
It’s all about that collagen, babe! As we age, the collagen that keeps our skin firm breaks down, resulting in fine lines, loose skin and wrinkles. The skin can also loosen due to weight fluctuations.
Thermage works by using radio-frequency technology to heat the deeper, collagen-rich layers of the skin, causing collagen to contract and gradually reform. All this leads to smoother, tighter skin after just one treatment, with results that continue to improve! And because the outer layers of the skin are unaffected, there’s almost zero downtime.
