Here’s what our patients have to say about their experience.
ABOUT THE REVANESSE EXPERIENCE
STEP ONE: YOUR FREE CONSULTATION
You’ll start your Revanesse experience by coming in for a free consultation with one of our specialists. There, they will assess your skincare goals and areas you’re looking to treat, and answer any questions you might have.
STEP TWO: YOUR TREATMENT
You’ll start off your appointment by discussing your desired results with your clinician, aligning on the look you want and deciding how much of your syringe you will choose to use. If you’re not sure, you can always add in a little bit at a time, look in the mirror, and add more as needed.
The actual injection only takes a few minutes. Does it hurt? It’s slightly uncomfortable but mostly tolerable. Revanesse formulations are infused with lidocaine, an anesthetic that will help mitigate discomfort once injected. And if you’re extra concerned, you can request a topical anesthetic before your injection.
After your treatment, you’ll be able to go back to your everyday life with zero downtime! However, there are a few things you’ll need to be aware of, including activities to avoid and common side effects like minor swelling or bruising. Click ahead for a full list of what to do before and after your Revanesse appointment.
HOW REVANESSE WORKS
This may sound obvious, but the main role of fillers is to fill! As we age, we tend to lose volume in our face and lips (not to mention, some of us were born with plumper lips than others!). Dermal facial fillers fill in those deflated areas, plumping and smoothing skin and restoring volume.
As stated earlier, Revanesse is a smooth gel filler made up of hyaluronic acid, a substance that is naturally produced by your body that acts to bind and absorb water, creating volume in your face. Revanesse restores that hyaluronic acid to the lip area, resulting in that hydrated, natural and youthful look you want.
